TalkLink privacy policy

TalkLink is operated and published by TASKMASTER, SRL. The service is designed to minimize the information required for browser-based calls and meetings.

Data used by the service

TalkLink does not require an account. Signaling temporarily processes a random room identifier and connection state; group meetings also process the display name entered by a participant.

Audio and video

Media is encrypted in transit by WebRTC and is not recorded or stored by TalkLink. It travels directly between participants when possible and may be relayed in encrypted form when necessary.

Analytics and browser storage

Public pages use privacy-safe analytics. Full room links, room tokens, display names, SDP, and ICE candidates are excluded. Browser storage may remember language and media preferences.

Device permissions

Camera and microphone access is used for real-time communication. Screen access is requested only after a participant chooses to start screen sharing.
